We are hiring!
We’re on the lookout for a Marketing & Events Assistant to freelance with us part time (24 hours per month). This could be 6 hours per week or adapted around our bi-weekly parties; it would require some flexibility and discussion. The role would be remote to begin with but we would ask that all applicants are London based. Our ambition would be for the ideal candidate to grow in the position. It’s paid at £16 PH.

Responsibilities:
- Creating design and media assets; using canva to design assets for Instagram
- Copy editing; drafting and reviewing marketing materials
- Scheduling social media content
- Research and reporting on social media
- Uploading content to the website
- Setting up events on the ticketing platform
- Rota creation for welfare support at parties
- Stock management
- Ad hoc admin; website updates and email correspondence
- Liaison with external contractors, venues and artists
Experience/Skills:
Essential:
1– 2 years experience in a similar role
Passion for (and knowledge of) queer and sex positive communities. Bonus if you have worked in the music industry, nightlife or creative industries
Design and multimedia content creation skills
Understanding of current social media trends
Strong copywriting skills
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Commitment to representation and diversity within the events sector, particularly for the queer community
Desirable:
Proficient using Canva, Mailchimp, Soundcloud and Squarespace
Hospitality experience
On top of TikTok
