We’re hiring a Social Media Manager!

As we grow and embark on ambitious plans of world domination, we’re in search of a freelance experienced social media manager to come join team Joyride.

Commitment: 3 days per month + some additional hours on an ad-hoc basis. 

Location: London based. 

Rates: Starting at £120.

We will prioritise applications from POC, queer, trans or disabled candidates.  

Responsibilities:

• Creating design and media assets; using Figma to design assets 

• Copy writing; drafting and reviewing marketing materials

• Scheduling social media content  

• Multi-media: creating video + audio content 

• Creating & scheduling email newsletters 

• Research and reporting on social media 

• Uploading content to the blog

• Community management/email correspondence 

Experience/Skills: 

Essential: 

• 1– 3 years experience in a similar role 

• Passion for (and knowledge of) queer and sex positive communities. Bonus if you have worked in the music industry, nightlife or creative industries

• Strong copywriting skills 

• Design and multimedia content creation skills 

• Understanding of social media trends 

• Strong organisational and administrative skills

• Proficient using Figma, Mailchimp.

Desirable

• Proficient using Soundcloud, Squarespace, Notion and Slack.
